Papier Bazaar

With Uni finished unexpectedly early for the weekend, Alice and I headed into town with the intention of heading to Papier Bazaar at Waterstone's Nottingham.
After a little unnecessary retail therapy in Topshop and a not-so-healthy lunch, we made it to the book shop and went up to the fourth floor.
Papier Bazaar is a pop-up shop run by third year FMB student Daisy Simpson as part of her final project. The shop is open for this weekend only 19th-21st April, from 10-3pm each day.

Specialising in independent magazines from all over the world, all sales from the event go towards the charity Springboard for Children.
If you are in Nottingham City Centre at all this weekend and interested in something a bit different from Elle, Harper's or Vogue then definitely pay it a visit.
I personally picked up a copy of The Gentlewoman, with Beyonce (one of my personal idols) as the focus of the issue. I'll let you know if it's a good read!

Alice and I also hit up the Topshop sale...we both did ok. Managed to stop ourselves from spending too much money (always a challenge for fashion students)! I only bought a pair of studded flats and a pair of pajamas that I've had my eye on for a while, unfortunately not in sale. Job well done though I thought!

Have any of you managed to get any bargains in the sales recently? I'd love to hear about them!

The Last Line: Try as you might everything you've paid for won't be done until you've paid for all your hours. And you're not coming home tonight.
